Motocross track near Zurich: how to get to MX-Academy in Schlatt

Every course starts at the MX-Academy shop, Hauptstrasse 8, 8252 Schlatt TG. The motocross track itself lies in the Gishalde area next to the Frauenfelderstrasse, about 0.9 km from the shop as the crow flies. More on how to find MX-Academy.
By car from Zurich
- From Zürich HB to the shop it is about 45 km. A route calculation (OpenStreetMap data, without traffic) gives about 40 minutes.
- Travel times depend on where in Zurich you start and on the traffic.
By train and bus from Zürich HB
A timetable check for October 2026 (transport.opendata.ch) showed two typical routes to the bus stop “Schlatt TG, Mettschlatt”, about 70 m from the shop:
- Via Winterthur, about 1 hour 3 minutes: IR75 from Zürich HB to Winterthur, S33 to Marthalen, then bus 847 to “Schlatt TG, Mettschlatt”.
- Via Schaffhausen, about 1 hour 11 minutes: RE48 from Zürich HB to Schaffhausen, S1 to Diessenhofen, then bus 847 to “Schlatt TG, Mettschlatt”.
